Short CV :

Prof. Dr. Dejan Raković was born in 1951 in Belgrade, where he graduated Engineering Physics at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, and got his MS and PhD degrees from the Physics Division of the Faculty of Science. During 1980/81 he completed postgraduate specialization in theoretical spectroscopy and quantum chemistry of conducting polymers, in the group of Academician L. A. Gribov in Moscow. He has published over 200 scientific papers and communications and over 35 books, cited nearly 200 times. He is serving as a referee of a number of international scientific journals. He is professor of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Belgrade he joint in 1977, where he has been teaching numerous courses related to materials science, biomaterials, biophysics, and quantum informatics. He was heading Department of Materials Science in several election periods, postgraduate Materials Science Curriculum since 1987, and undergraduate Biomedical and Ecological Engineering Curriculum since 1996. He is vice-president elect of the Materials Research Society of Serbia from 1997. He is heading the ECPD International School of Quantum-Informational Medicine of the United Nations University for Peace in Belgrade in Belgrade from 2009. He founded International Anti-Stress Center (IASC) in Belgrade, becoming president elect of the IASC Governing Board from 1999. He also founded his Fund (FDR) for Promoting Holistic Research and Ecology of Consciousness in 2009.

Awards:

Since 1997 professor Rakovic is being vice-president elect of the Yugoslav Materials Research Society, and guest co-editor of 10 volumes from YUCOMATs being published by Materials Science Forum, Materials and Manufacturing Processes, and International Journal of Modern Physics B. He is also a member of international editorial board of the journal Informatica, and referee of the journals Acta Physica Polonica A, Physica Scripta, NeuroQuantology, Connection Science, International Journal of Radiation Biology, Digital Signal Processing, Medical and Biological Engineering and Computing, and Journal of Medical Systems, as well. During the period 1995-1998 he headed regional project Brain and Consciousness at the European Center for Peace and Development (ECPD) of the United Nations University for Peace in Belgrade and co-edited 5 books published by ECPD, while from 2009 he is heading the ECPD International School of Quantum-Informational Medicine, with (co-)authored ECPD thematic textbook. In 1999 he co-founded International Anti-Stress Center (IASC) in Belgrade, becoming president elect of the IASC Governing Board, with wide educational holistic anti-stress activities. In 2009 he also founded his Fund (FDR) for Promoting Holistic Research and Ecology of Consciousness.
